“We Are the Chain” – A Unity Day Poem

 

We are the links in a powerful chain.

Different in color, in shape, in name.

But when we connect, side by side, hand in hand,

We build something strong. We take a stand.

 

A stand for kindness, for voices heard,

For helping each other with action and word.

For standing up tall when someone feels small,

For catching a friend who’s starting to fall.

 

Each link matters – yes, yours and mine.

Together we sparkle, together we shine.

From classroom to hallway, from lunchroom to gym,

Our unity grows from deep within.

 

So let’s build a chain that stretches wide –

With every student, standing with pride.

One link for friendship, one for respect,

One for the promise to always protect.

 

We are the chain – bright, bold, and true.

And Unity Day starts with me and you.

We are Davison Avenue – stronger together, through and through.
