Davison Avenue Students Promote Literacy with Free Little Library

The Davison Avenue Student Council recently created a “Free Little Library,” giving students a welcoming space to take a book or share one with others. The project promotes both literacy and community, encouraging students to explore new stories throughout the school day.
Head Custodian Mr. Valone brought the students’ vision to life by constructing the library using recycled materials, including an old easel creatively repurposed as the roof. The Free Little Library is located outside the cafeteria and is already becoming a popular spot for students to connect over books.
